Biographical Record
Negue Djogo was born on February 2, 1932, in Moundou. Trained at the École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr in France, Djogo was one of newly independent Chad's first fully trained military staff officers, rising to Chief of Staff of the Chadian Armed Forces (FAT) under Félix Malloum.
In 1979, during the chaotic collapse of central authority in N'Djamena, General Djogo commanded the southern military administration, preventing total partition. He later founded the Democratic Front of Chad (FDT) and served as Minister of Justice and Minister of Finance under Hissène Habré, respected across northern and southern factions for his professional discipline and integrity.
